The museum hold collections and archives relating to the town and the surrounding villages. These collection include:

Object Donations

At Sandwich Guildhall Museum & Archives we collect objects or archival documents to help us tell stories about the town and surrounding areas. To ensure we can continue caring properly for our collections, we have guidelines as to what we can and cannot take into our care.

Please do not leave items at the Visitor Information Centre or the Museum. If you would like to donate an item or items to the museum, please contact us with the details beforehand.

Research Enquiries

The archives are currently closed to visitors, however if you have a research enquiry you can contact us and we will do our best to help you.

Some of our collection is held in Maidstone at the County Archives. Please check their catalogue before contacting us.
